DOILIES + TAGS

A few orders I am sending out -- kraft tags for a New York wedding, and doilies for escort cards! I absolutely love when I get to experiment with writing on different materials. Makes my job more interesting.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Can't wait for the long weekend to begin! This week I sent out a reception menu, a set of calligraphy escort cards, and the bridesmaid cards in my previous post. As if that wasn't enough, I designed some address stamps for a good friend whose wedding I'm attending next month (can't wait!).

IMPORTANT QUESTION

I am so flattered to be able to help out a good friend in creating a memorable and unique way to ask her closest girlies to be in her wedding. These cards have the sweetest poems on them. So thoughtful!

WEEKEND

This past weekend was Bay to Breakers here in SF. Google it if you don't know what it is. Better yet, Google Image it.

Since my Sunday was pretty much a wash, I got all of my recent addressing order finished before then (whew). I have already posted pics of the Save the Dates I did, so today I will leave you with one of my favorite pictures from the weekend of my roommate's sister.

WHITE INK

As I mentioned before, my favorite ink to use is white, and has been since I started calligraphy. White looks so crisp against everything. Clean, bright, and fresh against any dark background.

SUNDAY

This is how I spent a lazy Sunday morning -- sitting the sunny living room addressing beautiful Save the Dates for a San Francisco couple. Very relaxing!

NEW THANK YOU STAMP

I am so happy to introduce my brand new, first Thank You stamp! It's only $20.00 and measures 1"x3". The stamp is mounted on a wood base with my calligraphy design engraved on top. I have already used mine to stamp tags, packages, and envelopes! Go check it out in my store -- I know you will love this stamp as much as I do.

SLOWLY BUT SURELY

I really enjoyed addressing these envelopes for my good friend's brother's wedding! Their invitations were beautiful (wish I could show you those!) and I am always flattered when close people to me ask me to help. I love having a connection with the client because it makes the work so much more rewarding. I will definitely be offering this font once I do an overhaul of my fonts.

CALLIGRAPHY GLASSES

Finally! I am so glad I get to share this project with you all. My friends, Karen and Bryan, got engaged (!) and I knew these would be such a perfect engagement gift. Not to mention, I've been itching to put calligraphy on anything I can think of. I designed their names and used Discount Mugs online to have these glasses etched with the final design. I seriously could not be happier with how they turned out, and am looking forward to exploring more glass etching options in the future.

SHORT WEEK

Tomorrow after work I am flying back home for the weekend! I haven't been back since I moved out to San Francisco and I couldn't be more excited. I already don't have work on Friday so I took full advantage of my normal short week. I'm hoping before I leave for the weekend that I can upload my pictures from my surprise project that I'm dying to share! We'll see how fast packing goes tonight...
